Hanover House has gone through a major and complete reconstruction in 2006 and 2007.  It was raised 10 feet onto new pilings and has been totally rebuilt.  It now boasts 2 brand new, fully equipped kitchens, complete with farm house sinks, dishwashers, and granite counter tops.  Each floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.  Each floor has a living area with a flat screen TV, DVD player, and Stereo.   HH also has Comcast Cable and DSL WiFi.  The 1st floor has the refurbished original living area with a wood burning fireplace.  This area is opened to the porch and kitchen-dining room areas thus creating  a "great room" which can comfortably accommodate 15 to 18 people.  The 2nd floor unit has an enormous deck which boasts "the greatest ocean view on LBI."  Besides the new oak tower staircase, we've also maintained the old internal staircase which connects the 2 units.  This has been our grandchildren's favorite play area.  The staircase can be unlocked for use as a single, large family home.  We're sorry, but the pictures don't do it justice.  We will keep updating and adding new images as the decorating is completed.  You'll have to use a little imagination and understand that Randi is continually redecorating HH in "Shabby Chic."  I have no idea what that means, but she has great taste and I keep saying "yes" when she wants to purchase something.  It is really an ideal property for a large family or group of friends who want to vacation together, yet maintain some privacy.  It can comfortably sleep a maximum of 18 people, 9 on each floor.  Be one of the lucky families to have your vacation at Hanover House on LBI.
